Fish Creek Memorial Hall was built in 1930 and has served as a community hub ever since, hosting dances, teas, concerts, meetings, classes and much more for the town down through the decades.
It is also a memorial hall for those whose served and those who fell in World War 1, World War 2, Vietnam and other conflicts in the world.

Currently the Hall is used for many different functions including:
- a memorial for those who served in war, and for the fallen
- theatre
- church
- concert and performance space
- meetings
- exhibition space
- cinema
- teaching space
- dance hall
- Op shop
The purpose of the Hall is to function as a viable social and cultural centre for the well-being and enjoyment of the Fish Creek community. It is a versatile space offering a venue for the events, needs and purposes required by the people of the town and district.
It’s also the proud home of the famous Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival!

We have regular events too – yoga, Nia, Prom Coast Film Society, pilates. It’s the social centre of the town.
The Fish Creek Hall is owned by the Fish Creek Memorial Hall Committee on behalf of the township, and is not publicly funded.
